We are located in Everton,Mo, which is about 30 miles northwest of Springfield. I am 17 years old and have been breeding Goldendoodles since February of 2007. I have three Golden Retriever females, three Standard Poodle females, one Standard Poodle male, and one Golden Retriever male.
My original two dogs I began breeding with were my Golden female, Suzy, and my Standard male, Apollo. The production and sale of their puppies has provided me with a very good FFA project and a Proficency Award in Small Animal Production and Care in 2008 and ,for the website, I got a Profiecency Award in Emerging Agricultural Technology and the Chapter Star Award in 2009.
My dogs are bred with the intention of providing a high quality pet with a loving, gentle personality and a non-shedding quality. I strive to give every dog personal attention and love. My mom is a vet so they are easily monitored, diagnosed, and treated for any ailment with expediancy.
Puppies are born in the house and kept there until they are three-five weeks old, then I move them outside during the day and in at night for a while then either into the kennel building(which is under construction and still rather hard to keep clean in its unfinished state but if its cold I put them in there so I can heat it) or into a regular dog kennel on the ground depending on the weather.
I provide puppies with the oppurtunity to eat dry puppy food at two weeks. Some of them can eat it, others don't even try at that point but they get the hang of it soon. I vaccinate at 6,9,12, and 16 weeks old as long as I have the puppies. I also deworm with Panacure at 6 weeks and as needed for prevention of parasites. Puppies are sent home with a one gallon bag of Purina Exclusive Large Breed Puppy, a packet containing registration papers, vaccination record, rabies certificate (if applicable), and health certificate (if applicable). At the bottom of the vaccination record is also a 2 year warrenty on the puppy.
